sidenote: i saw New Moon today. i will admit i was amused by Twilight. probably not in the way the director wanted, but it definitely brought the LOLZ. the second did not. i am offended that i paid $9.75 to watch a 17-year-old take his shirt off and the so-called “heroine” of the series be a manipulative bitch who can’t be alone & therefore lays catatonic in a forest after her ~true love~ (that she found at 17) leaves her (bc he is also manipulative and borderline emotionally abusive), but then rebounds with a new guy & tells him she loves him (again with the codependent) until the old guy shows up and she’s like “LOL I 4GIVE U, TRU LUV 4EVER” and tells the other guy to GTFO (again with the manipulative).
